Samsung Innovation Campus Certificate Distribution Ceremony 2026
The Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) Certificate Distribution Ceremony 2026 was successfully organized at Pimpri Chinchwad University on 24th March 2026, marking the culmination of the Coding & Programming (C&P) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs conducted under the Samsung Innovation Campus. The ceremony recognized the successful completion of these industry-aligned courses and reinforced the importance of skill-based education and certification-driven learning.
The SIC initiative at PCU is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by equipping students with future-ready skills. The program goes beyond traditional classroom teaching by integrating practical exposure, structured technical sessions, and real-world application through hackathons and project-based learning. This holistic approach ensures that students gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.
The program witnessed strong student participation across disciplines, reflecting a growing interest in emerging technologies. A total of 203 students were enrolled in the Coding & Programming course and 170 students in the Artificial Intelligence course. All 373 students who successfully completed the training and assessments were awarded certifications, highlighting the scale and success of the initiative.
The ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries from academia and industry. The Chief Guest, Prashant Joglekar, emphasized the importance of aligning education with industry needs. Dr. Shashank Dwivedi shared insights on the global impact of the SIC initiative. The event was further honored by the presence of Hon. Vice Chancellor Dr. Santosh S. Sonavane, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Sudeep Thepade, and Executive Director PCET PCU Dr. Girish Desai, who highlighted the universitys commitment to outcome-based and industry-oriented education.
The ceremony followed a structured format, beginning with the ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana, followed by the felicitation of dignitaries and faculty coordinators. Certificates were awarded to students who successfully completed the program. The event also included discussions on strengthening industryacademia collaboration through internships, real- world projects, and innovation-driven initiatives.
The SIC program aligns closely with the vision of NEP 2020 by promoting skill-based education, outcome-based learning, and strong industry collaboration.
