Types of Scholarships
PCU Scholarships are applicable to all undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs offered by Pimpri Chinchwad University.
PCU offers scholarships under the following categories:

Merit-Based Scholarship (Based on 12th / Entrance Exams)

Special Category Scholarships
Maharashtra Girls Scholarship
- Girl candidates scoring 80% and above in CET are eligible for 30% tuition fee scholarship.
- Maximum cap: 15% of total Intake.
Single Earning / Deceased Parent Scholarship
- Students who have lost an earning parent and whose family income is below Rs. 8 lakh per annum are eligible for 25% tuition fee scholarship.
- Income certificate issued by competent authority is mandatory.
Sibling Scholarship
- Students whose immediate sibling is enrolled at PCU will receive Rs. 25,000/- per year for the common duration of study.
Freedom Fighter Scholarship
- Students whose forefathers are recognized as freedom fighters by Government of India or State Government are eligible for 10% tuition fee scholarship.
Defense Personnel Scholarship
- Children of serving or retired personnel from Indian Armed Forces are eligible for 10% tuition fee scholarship.
Sports Scholarship

Postgraduate & Research Scholarships
Postgraduate Scholarship
Students admitted to PG programs (MCA, MTech, MDes, MBA, LLM) with minimum graduation CGPA of 7 are eligible for 5% tuition fee scholarship.
PhD Research Scholarship
Full-time PhD scholars working as Research Assistants may receive a monthly stipend up to Rs. 30,000/- subject to university regulations and availability of research funding.
Retention Benefit
Existing PCU students enrolling in PCU Master’s programs will receive 15% tuition fee scholarship for the first year.
General Guidelines
- Students can avail only one scholarship at a time.
- Scholarships are subject to availability within defined caps.
- Submission of false documents will lead to cancellation of scholarship and possible cancellation of admission.
- Students involved in disciplinary misconduct, academic malpractice, or ragging will lose scholarship eligibility.
