ANANTAM 2026 – A Celebration of Talent at Pimpri Chinchwad University
Pimpri Chinchwad University, Pune, hosted ANANTAM 2026 on 5th and 6th March, a vibrant two–day cultural festival that transformed the campus into a celebration of talent, creativity, and unity. The event began with a grand inauguration by Honorable Chancellor Harshavardhan Patil, along with Guest of Honour Shri Narendra Landge – Entrepreneur and Management Representative PCET & PCU, in the presence of Vice Chancellor Dr. Santosh Sonavane, Registrar Dr. Anil Maheshwari, and Dr. Anju Bala, Director Student Development & Welfare. The occasion was further enriched by the inspiring presence of renowned actress Mrinal Kulkarni.
In his inaugural address, Shri Harshavardhan Patil reflected on the spirit of youth and creativity at PCU, beautifully comparing student aspirations to the vastness of the sea. He remarked that at PCU, opportunities are always present for students, and festivals like ANANTAM allow their waves of talent to rise, express themselves, and reach new horizons. His words inspired students to embrace opportunities, creativity, and leadership during their academic journey. Addressing the gathering, Mrinal Kulkarni shared an inspiring message about the importance of passion and expression in student life. She noted that institutions like PCU create an environment where talent grow calmer and clearer, allowing students to discover their true voice and direction. Her words encouraged students to pursue creativity and confidence both on and off the stage.
The festival showcased the diverse talents of students through colorful Rangoli and Mandala art, exciting treasure hunts, electrifying band performances, glamorous fashion shows, multicultural cultural performances, musical performance by Sudhanshu Raj Khare, Shivjayanti celebrations, E–gaming tournaments, carnival games, and a grand DJ night finale.
During the closing moments, Vice Chancellor Dr. Santosh Sonavane congratulated the winners of ANANTAM and appreciated the enthusiasm shown by all participating students. In his heartfelt remarks, he encouraged students to remember that festivals like ANANTAM are not only about winning but about discovering confidence, teamwork, and creativity. He emphasized that every participant contributes to the vibrant culture of the university and that the spirit of learning and expression continues beyond the stage.
The grand success of ANANTAM reflects the visionary leadership and unwavering support of the universitys esteemed patrons and trustees.
