At Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU), Pune, we believe that the most profound learning often occurs beyond the four walls of a classroom. This was recently demonstrated when our FY MBA (International) and BA & AI students embarked on an immersive industry visit to the JCB India Ltd. facility. This excursion served as a vital bridge between theoretical academic concepts and the high-speed reality of global industrial operations, allowing students to witness the complex machinery of a world-class manufacturing giant in action.
During the visit, students were given a front-row seat to the future of Industry 4.0, gaining first-hand exposure to advanced automation, sophisticated AI integration, and the intricate dance of global supply chain logistics. By observing these real-time operations, our students could see exactly how the data analytics and international business strategies they study in Pune are applied on a massive, global scale. This direct observation helps demystify complex industrial processes and reinforces the practical value of their specialized coursework.
