Pimpri Chinchwad University, established under Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust, proudly hosted its 1st Convocation Ceremony in Pune—marking a defining moment in the University’s academic journey.
The ceremony was held with dignity and celebration, honouring the achievements of PCU’s first graduating batch. The event reflected the University’s commitment to academic excellence, values, and leadership, as graduates stepped forward with confidence and purpose.
The convocation was graced by Chief Guest Vijay P. Bhatkar, Padma Bhushan awardee and eminent scientist, whose inspiring address encouraged graduates to innovate with integrity. Guests of Honour included Nitin Karmalkar, former Vice-Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, and Rajendra P. Jagdale, Managing Director & CEO, Science & Technology Park.
The ceremony was presided over by Shri. Harshvardhan S. Patil, Chancellor, PCU & Trustee, PCET, along with the Hon’ble Trustees, Governing Body Members, and senior leadership of PCET and PCU.
The convocation marked more than the conferment of degrees—it celebrated perseverance, dreams fulfilled, and the beginning of PCU’s academic legacy.
