The School of Law, Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU) successfully conducted a Legal Aid & Cyber Fraud Awareness Camp at Kusgaon Khurd in conjunction with the inauguration of the Rajmata Jijau Women’s Empowerment Centre and a community health camp Mahila Gaurav Sanman Sohala.
The program was led by the Dean, HOD, Faculty Members, along with enthusiastic students from the Legal Aid Committee, who actively provided legal guidance and academic outreach to the local community.
As part of the initiative, a special session on Cyber Fraud Awareness was conducted to educate attendees about the growing risks of cybercrimes and practical measures to ensure digital safety.
The team also identified and consulted individuals eligible for Free Legal Aid Services, including women, children, and marginalized groups, and encouraged them to visit the School of Law’s Legal Aid Clinic for any further legal assistance.
During the outreach activity, the gathering was also informed that Admissions for the upcoming academic session at the School of Law, Pimpri Chinchwad University, are now officially open.
