Overview
On 11th October 2024, Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU) hosted an enchanting evening of cultural celebration with its 'Sanedo Dandiya Eve,' marking the joyous festival of Navratri. The event attracted a lively crowd, filled with students and faculty, who came together to celebrate the rich traditions of the festival through music and dance. The celebration was made even more memorable by the presence of esteemed guests, including Marathi Superstar Adinath Kothare and Actress Rucha Vaidya, who captivated the audience with their charisma and engagement, enhancing the festive atmosphere of the evening.
The evening unfolded with a series of vibrant performances, including traditional dandiya and garba dances that invited participation from everyone present. Special gratitude was expressed to Shri. Harshvardhan Patil, Chancellor of PCU, Dr. Manimala Puri, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Sudeep Thepade, Pro Vice Chancellor, for their unwavering guidance and support throughout the event. Their leadership played a crucial role in organizing the celebration, ensuring it resonated with the spirit of Navratri and promoted cultural unity within the university community.
