Check Your Eligibility
Applicants must meet the academic and programme-specific eligibility requirements prescribed by the university for their chosen course. Eligibility may depend on qualifying examination scores, subject background, entrance test performance, personal interview for selected programmes. Students should refer to the detailed programme page or brochure for course-specific requirements.
Eligibility for AY 2026-2027
Passed minimum 3 years / 2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Examination with at least 60% marks (55% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in any Branch of Engineering and Technology.
OR
Passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 60% marks (55% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
Candidates are selected based on entrance test score AND on merit subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Key Admission Dates
Applications are now invited for the academic year 2026–27. Admissions at PCU are conducted in clearly defined phases, as outlined above, allowing applicants to track timelines and plan accordingly.
Once a student submits the application, the Personal Interview (PI), for applicable programmes is typically scheduled on the next day. For programmes that require an entrance test, the test is scheduled from the next working day after application submission.
Applicants are encouraged to complete each step within the given timelines to ensure a smooth and timely admission process.
