Gratitude resonates in the hearts of literature enthusiasts as they reflect on the success of a literary odyssey organized by Maharashtra Sahitya Kala Prasarini Sabha and Pimpri Chinchwad University, Pune. The event, titled 'à¤à¤•à¤¾ दिशेचा शोध आणि दिशा शोधणारी माणसं' unfolded at Tilak Smarak Mandir, Tilak Road, Pune, on January 31, 2024, at 5 PM.
The gathering included distinguished personalities such as Mr. Sachin Itkar, Dr. Girish Desai (Executive Director- PCET), Smt. Padmatai Bhosale (Vice Chairperson PCET), and Mr. Ajinkya Kalbhor (Management representative- PCET). The event featured the insightful voices of visionaries Mr. Aashish Achalerkar, Mr. Sandeep Vasalekar.
Vilas Shinde, Chairman and CEO of Sahyadri Farmer Producer Company Limited, shared his inspirational journey of transforming a 2-acre vineyard into a thriving export business. Hailing from Adgaon in Nashik, Shinde has been a beacon of innovation in rural Maharashtra. Leading 1,200 farmers on 500 acres of modern vineyards, he showcased the power of cooperation and innovation in making rural communities self-sufficient in agriculture.
Known as Sunandatai, Mrs. Sunanda Rajendra Pawar, an Indian women's rights activist associated with Krishi Vikas Trust, shared her impactful initiatives. Pawar has been organizing the Bhimthadi Jatra since 2008, raising awareness about menstrual hygiene and providing access to menstrual products for rural women. As the chairperson of water conservation committees, she actively contributes to improving groundwater levels in drought-prone areas.
Mr. Bharat Gite, the founder and CEO of Taural India, showcased his contributions to conservation, basic amenities, energy, maritime, aerospace, and electric vehicles. A graduate of COEP and Harvard Business School's SELP, Gite actively represents Indian goods and services globally, with clients including General Electric and Siemens.
Sagar Babar, the co-founder and CEO of Commonsense Technologies Private Limited, shared his two-decade journey in technology-driven businesses. Currently serving as CEO of Commonsense Consulting and director at Clara Global School, Babar remains actively engaged in the field of technology.
