Preamble
Visual Communication Design
Communication design is the strategic fusion of artistic expression with usability, aesthetics, and language. Students in the programme get the skill of capturing their readers with words and graphics while narrating compelling stories. The curriculum is designed to give students a thorough understanding of print, audio, visual, outdoor, and digital messaging to help them develop strategic strategies for efficient business communication. As a student, you learn about the media’s contemporary theories with an emphasis on their social and cultural effects. Students who get this degree will be motivated to create communication strategies that are thought-provoking, inspirational, and memorable. Creating creative ideas that significantly grab people’s attention has become a celebrated ability for the future due to the media platforms’ rapid expansion. The way a graphic designer works has undergone a drastic transformation in recent years. More than ever, a comprehensive understanding of graphic design is required due to the rapid change in communication methods and channels brought on by recent technology advancements. The Graphic Design degree at PCU prepares students to handle current issues and emerging technologies in the realm of visual communication, particularly in the area of graphic design. After earning a degree in communication design, pursue a career working with creative agencies, start-ups, technology juggernauts, and multinational organisations to create compelling stories through brand and editorial design, digital product design, data visualisation, motion graphics, UX/UI design, publishing, broadcast media, space communication, and interaction design.
