Celebrating the 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervor at Pimpri Chinchwad University

Pimpri Chinchwad, January 26, 2025 – Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU) marked the 76th Republic Day with grandeur and heartfelt patriotic sentiments. The university campus was abuzz with enthusiasm as students, faculty, and dignitaries gathered to honor the nation and its democratic values. The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri. Harshvardhan Patil, Hon’ble Chancellor of PCU, who served as the Chief Guest for the event. The program commenced with a warm welcome extended by Honourable Vice-Chancellor (I/C) Dr. Manimala Puri and Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sudeep Thepade. The ceremony unfolded with the hoisting of the tricolor, accompanied by the resounding notes of the national anthem, evoking pride and unity among attendees.

Patriotic Performances Inspire National Pride The highlight of the event was the vibrant and soul-stirring performances by the students of PCU. Their cultural presentations, including songs, dances, and skits, celebrated India’s rich heritage and diverse traditions. Each act was imbued with deep patriotic fervor, resonating with the audience and fostering a renewed sense of pride in the nation. In his address, Shri. Harshvardhan Patil commended the students and faculty for their efforts in organizing a memorable celebration. “This day reminds us of the responsibilities we bear as citizens of a proud democratic nation. Let us pledge to uphold the values enshrined in our Constitution,” he said. The event was blessed by the honourable board of trustees of Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET),including Shri. Dnyaneshwar P. Landge, Chairman, PCET, Smt. Padma M. Bhosale, Chairman, PCET,Shri. Shantaram D. Garade, Treasurer, PCET, and Shri. Vitthal S. Kalbhor, Secretary, PCET, Mr. Ajinkya Kalbhor (Management Representative), Mr. Narendra Landge (Management Representatives), and Dr. Girish Desai, Executive Director, PCET. As the celebrations concluded, the atmosphere at PCU was imbued with the spirit of unity, patriotism, and a shared commitment to the ideals of the Republic.
