
Professor Toshihiro Moriga from Japan’s Tokushima University’s Department of Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, visited Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET) and Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU) in Pune today.
Dr. Manimala Puri, Vice Chancellor (IC), welcomed Professor Moriga Toshihiro and gave a brief overview of the newly established Pimpri Chinchwad University and its new edge programs.
Dr. Roshani Raut has given a presentation about PCET and its constituent units.
Professor Moriga, Toshihiro, of Tokushima University, Japan, appreciated the research-based academic model adopted by Pimpri Chinchwad University, Pune. He also made special reference to PCET placements and the achievements of the PCET students.
Dr. Girish Desai, Executive Director, Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust, hall briefed about PCET’s institutes as well as the newly established Pimpri Chinchwad University in Pune. He mentioned strategic collaboration with the Tokushima University of Japan for the student exchange programs.
