International Study Tour to Dubai - School of Management, PCU

The School of Management (SOM) at Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU) proudly organized an enriching International Study Tour for its second-year MBA International batch from 21st to 25th October 2024. A group of 25 students, accompanied by one faculty member, embarked on this transformative journey to Dubai, gaining valuable insights into one of the world’s most dynamic business environments. Dubai, renowned as a global hub for finance, trade, and innovation, served as the ideal setting for this immersive learning experience.

 

This international study tour forms a vital component of the MBA International curriculum, strategically designed to broaden students' perspectives, hone their managerial skills, and enhance their cultural awareness. The tour aimed to cultivate globally competent leaders capable of navigating the intricacies of international markets, economic diversity, and corporate strategies in today’s highly competitive business world.

 

Throughout the five-day tour, students engaged with industry professionals, participated in site visits, and attended discussions on global best practices. They gained firsthand insights into the operations of leading companies in Dubai, one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. The interactions with top-tier business executives provided a deep understanding of the region’s economic strategies and the innovative approaches driving its rapid growth.

 

The study tour also allowed students to explore Dubai's state-of-the-art business infrastructure, leading corporations, and the latest trends in global trade, digital transformation, and sustainability. These experiences were designed to foster critical thinking, enhance problem-solving abilities, and refine leadership skills—key competencies for success in the global business arena.
