Pimpri Chinchwad University Commences MBA Program with Prestigious Deeksharambh Induction Ceremony Featuring Chief Guest Dr. Sudhir Hasamnis.

The School of Management at Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU) successfully held the Deeksharambh (Induction) Ceremony for the MBA students for the academic year 2024-25. The ceremony took place on Monday, 22nd July 2024, at the University Campus in Sate, Maval, Dist. Pune.

This prestigious event featured Dr. Sudhir Hasamnis, Ex GM, Tata Motors, as the Chief Guest, who shared his valuable insights and experiences with the new batch of MBA students. He shared very valuable insights that an individual should adapt in his life to make it more meaningful and fruitful. In his valuable address, He stressed on the topic of time management and the process of learning new things and adapting to the trends that are coming up everyday in the management, technological and social sectors. He addressed the curious questions from the students and guided them.

Dr. Manimala Puri, Vice Chancellor I/c – PCU, highlighted the need for adaptability in a changing business landscape, the importance of holistic development, and encouraged innovation and entrepreneurship. She reaffirmed PCU's commitment to supporting students' academic and professional growth.  

Our Guest of Honour was Dr. Sunil Pareek, Professor & Dean (National institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management. He addressed the audience and the students. He emphasized the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in the modern business landscape, encouraging students to embrace challenges and think creatively. Dr. Pareek highlighted the critical role of technology in shaping the future of management practices and urged students to be proactive learners and leaders.

Another highlight of the event was the inspiring address by the Guest of Honour, Mr. Shivanand Mohan, AGM HR - Global Head Learning and Development, Business Performance, Talent Management, and OD at MSN Labs Group. He spoke about the evolving role of HR in shaping organizational culture, the significance of talent management, and the impact of learning and development on business performance. He also encouraged students to embrace change and stay adaptable in their professional journeys.

With engaging address from Dr. Ajay Sharma (HoD – School of Management), the students were ignited with a hope of making the best of their time at PCU and strive for excellence and all their endeavours.
