Course Overview :
This program delves into the study of human behaviour, mental
processes, and the application of psychological principles to
real-world issues. Students will gain insights into assessment,
diagnosis, and therapeutic techniques.
Eligiblity criteria :
Open Category student should have scored minimum 45 % of score
at 10+2 Science or Humanities with Psychology as Subject from
ICSE/ CBSE/Any State Board Examination or equivalent
qualification from any recognized board and 40% for reserved
category candidate. Candidates are selected on the basis of
merit AND Personal interview conducted by PCU

After graduating from high school, I planned to pursue a degree in psychology. I was influenced by various YouTube creators and psychologists. And then I discovered that Pimpri Chinchwad University was providing this particular degree. This university has offered me valuable exposure, practical knowledge, and opportunity in my first year itself. I'm overwhelmed with the support from teachers and environment here, and I'm looking forward to exploring more.

Learning about coordination and sensory perception during my school years, mapping out elemental knowledge about the brain, exploring the inner workings of personality - such experiences sparked my interest in this subject and it's immense beauty. Be it biomedicine, arts and culture, business or more, human psychology is the common factor that governs all. After research into neurodiversity and cognitive neuroscience, I was captured by the allure of building an interdisciplinary career centered in psychology. PCU's Clinical Psychology program offered the perfect conduit for me to further my knowledge.
I am motivated to study Nutrition and Dietetics because I have a genuine interest in nutrition and its impact on health. I enjoy educating others about healthy eating habits, find fulfillment in helping people improve their well-being through diet, and appreciate the variety of opportunities for career advancement and specialization within the field of nutrition and dietetics. Additionally, I find personal satisfaction in promoting wellness and preventing disease through dietary interventions. I love to be the reason for the betterment in people's health and body composition. I am grateful for the opportunities Pimpri Chinchwad Universities faculty members have created for me.
